Why Let Tendinits stop you?

"Tennis elbow" is the condition that made tendinitis famous. Fifty years ago no one knew much about it. However, in recent years tendinitis has become so prevalent that almost everyone knows someone who has it, has had it, or will have it. Nationally there are about 400,000 cases of tendinitis being seen each month by the various health professionals.Notice, We said being seen, not being cured. As a result, many of those cases are repeats simply because they aren't achieving the results they had expected. This has led the patient down the trial of frustration, disgust and continued pain.

The tendinitis patient has been visiting and revisiting the offices of medical doctors, chiropractors, osteopath, physical therapists and orthopedic specialists in the vain hope of achieving lasting results. It ,is difficult to say what dollar amount is being spent on tempo- rary relief, which is all that has been available until now. Because of the physical stresses of my chiropractic work, I suffered tendinitis myself for six and one- half years. This began with tedini- tis in both elbows and both shoul- ders 13 years ago. The pain was so severe and constant I almost quit my profession. I. did receive tempo- rary help through $2000 worth of physical therapy over the six-and- a-half year period, which included three cortisone shots. I expermented on myself with some arm exercises, two of which initially made my right shoulder worse.1 than. suspended all the exercises. However, about a year and a half later I began with a series of exercises which proved to be very helpful, including those shown here. These exercise led to a total recovery.

Since than I have used this system very successfullyin my office with many other ten- dinitis victims, some of whom had' suffered from it for a long time. (Information on these case histories (names withheld) is available on request.) So whether you have tendinitis from playing tennis, golf, racquet- ball, or from any activity that demands over use of the muscles and tendons, there is no longer any reason to suffer indefinitely with tendinitis. Now, there is help! First, one should make sure that he or she is diagnosed as having ten- dinitis (in the elbow, shoulder, or any other location) by a health professional before deciding to enter the treatment program.

Next, obtain the "package" which includes the supplements and video from a health professional in your area. The supple- ments consist of three natural antiiiiflamrnatories and one natural muscle relaxant. The video demonstrates how' to find the offending tendon, and in understandable language, shows where and how to use ice, transverse friction message, vibration, heat (but not on the tendon) and eight special exercises, two of which are demonstrated here. I am sharing this knowledgeprofessionals who are with many using my method for treating tendinitis.Ask your local natural health professional if he or she is one of them.

Edward Holtman, D.C., has practiced chiropractic for 44 years, and continues to do so,, in Hartford, Wisconsin. He is author of "Modern Guide for treatment of the common cold" and "It"s Time to Help Your Patients Say'Goodbye to Tendinitis'. Because No One Else Is."

You may say, "Oh, I'm not hooked on sugar." Wait until you try to give it up! You will have empathy for our cousin", the heroin addict. You can talk tola heroin addict until you are blue in the face, give him all the statistics, including the fact that the addict will live only to the average age of 35. You may apply all the scarce tactics known, and it will do little good. He may wish he could break the habit, but when the time comes for the next fix, there is no way he can stop by himself. You may agree with all the facts you have read about sugar, but what will YOU, do the next time you are offered something sweet? Ask your friends and family to help you; tell them you are a borderline diabetic or hypoglycemic. Along wit 'some understanding help, you may get a little sympathy.

ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS

Changing from sugar to artificial sweereners is comparable to going from heroin to methadone. The addiction is still there, with the same problems.

Artificial sweeteners should be avoided for two reasons:
First:
The chemicals used as sweeting agents may have side effects that can alter your enzyme system,as do many chemicals. When sensing a sweet taste the body produces saliva and other digestive juices to digest sweets .Artificial sweeteners fool the body into altering its chemistry, thius lowering the level of sugar in the blood ,and this causes a strong carving for food or drink containig a lot of calories.Artificially sweetened the appetite, causing a higher consumption of calories than if the artificial sweetener had not been used.
Second:
And even more important, artificial sweeteners keep one's carving for sweets as strong as ever. This means a continual fight to control the carving for the rest of your life. It takes determination and time to retrain the taste buds; if you make the effort, you Will soon,-be-enjoying the wonderful and delicate flavors which have been hidden under under sugar for these many years. Artificial sweeteners keep the carving for sweets alive.

Be a leader in establishing a new way of life tat will inspire your family And friends to improve their health and appear ance. They will thank you for help.
